Pre and Post Surgery TherapyBe stronger, heal faster, and get back to living life.
Hip and knee replacement surgeries are some of the most common operations performed in the U.S., with about 1 million completed each year. Add to that another 1.5 million surgeries to include the number of back and neck procedures performed in the U.S. yearly. Each one of these patients share one thing in common: their desire to get back to the level of work, play, and function they enjoyed before first experiencing pain. The physical therapy team at ReSOLVE can get you there.
Working with a mechanical physical therapist, many are able to identify and treat the source of symptoms and decrease or eliminate the pain with simple movement strategies resolving the issue non-surgically. Alternatively, when mechanical therapy reveals a surgery is needed, working with a therapist before the surgery can vastly improve your strength, knowledge, and confidence going into such a major procedure. In turn, these “prehabilitation” efforts can improve the speed, success, and cost of your rehabilitation experience post-surgery, getting you back to doing the things you love – free of pain.

What our patients are saying
“My husband had gone to Dr. Tom for physical therapy, so when I needed physical therapy after a total hip replacement, he wholeheartedly recommended that I go to Dr. Tom. Dr. Tom genuinely strives to make a positive difference with his patients. He doesn’t just go through the motions and put in his time. He wants to see improvement and greatly encourages along the way. He puts you at ease and strives for the best methods to obtain the most beneficial results. My physical therapy goals were met in a short time, and I’m doing great. I have recommended Dr. Tom to friends and will continue to do so.”
